I love this time of year…why? It is Girl Scout cookie time!! As a kid I sold Girl Scout cookies and as an adult I just eat them, thus supporting the Girl Scouts (it makes me feel better because the calories are for a good cause). This recipe is not complicated, in fact you may wonder why I am putting it up on the blog but I wanted to share a way to use one of my favorite flavor of Girl Scout cookies – Thin Mints. Have you bought a box of Girl Scout cookies yet? It is cookie time and the Girl Scouts are out selling cookies. I was a girl scout, my sister was a girl scout, and now my niece is one so I continue to support the Girl Scouts. The Girl Scouts of the USA is a great organization and important for girls and young women to build confidence, character, and leadership skills that will not only benefit them but also the community. I know this first-hand 😉
I had this recipe in mind when I bought Thin Mint cookies from my niece. When we were at the grocery store and I saw this Limited Edition @font-face { font-family: “MS 明朝”;}@font-face { font-family: “MS 明朝”;}@font-face { font-family: “Cambria”;}@font-face { font-family: “Lucida Grande”;}p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria; }.MsoChpDefault { font-family: Cambria; }div.WordSection1 { page: WordSection1; }Häagan-Dazs® Dark Chocolate Mint flavor I knew I had to use it in this shake.

1 container Häagan-Dazs® Dark Chocolate Mint (you could substitute vanilla, chocolate, or any other flavor you choose)
1/2 cup – 3/4 cup milk (depends how thick you like your milkshake – less milk for a thicker milk shake)
Directions for milkshake
1. Blend ice-cream and milk (I slowly add milk to get the consistency we prefer) in a blender.
2. You can either add the 6 cookies and blend with the blender or crush them by hand and mix them in by hand if you prefer larger chunks of cookie.
3. Garnish milkshakes with the other 2 cookies (or eat them when no one is looking)
Mangia!

** Häagan-Dazs® does not know who I am or pay me to talk about their delicious ice-cream and the Girl Scouts of the USA did not know I was posting this either or pay me in anyway to talk about their delicious cookies 😉
You just made me hungry 😉
